Oliver was appointed Non-executive Director on 12 August 2019 . Oliver has held various executive management positions in the project development, finance and commodity trading sectors, and with organisations including Outotec, Ferrostaal Group and CRONIMET. He is currently an executive director of CRONIMET Holding GmbH, Germany.

Stephen was appointed Non-executive Director on 14 November 2017 and has over 35 years’ experience in equity capital markets in the UK and Australia. Stephen has held both principal and director roles in his extensive career and has a depth of knowledge in capital raisings, ASX listings and corporate advisory matters. Stephen currently also serves as a non-executive director of ASX-listed Pursuit Minerals Limited.

Zhui Pei was appointed Non-executive Director on 12 August 2019. Zhui Pei has held executive, management and supervisory roles and has a wide range of experience from project planning to resource management to commercial negotiations. He has been working at a leading system integrator in the telecommunications industry in South-East Asia and is currently also an executive director of a steel-product manufacturer.

 

Stephen Weir

Stephen was appointed Non-Executive Director on 19 January 2024, representing Oaktree Capital Management. He brings more than 25 years of experience in mining, finance, and equity capital markets, with a background spanning senior corporate advisory, project financing, and construction management roles.

Stephen previously served as Managing Director at RFC Ambrian, a UK-based mining advisory firm, and held senior roles at Bankers Trust in Sydney. He was also CEO of ASX-listed Magnetite Mines Ltd, contributing to the advancement of key project and corporate initiatives.

Stephen is currently a Non-Executive Director of Harena Resources Plc and a member of the Advisory Board of GBA Capital, a Sydney-based resources-focused stockbroker. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

Craig Bradshaw

Non-executive Director

Craig is an experienced global tungsten industry executive and was a former CEO of Masan High-Tech Materials, the operator of the Nui Phao Tungsten Mine and Processing Complex in Vietnam and Managing Director of H.C. Starck Tungsten Powders GmbH, a global producer of Tungsten chemicals, powders, carbides and specialty carbides with operations in Germany, China and Canada, prior to its sale to Mitsubishi Materials Group in December 2024. Craig started his mining career with Mt Isa Mines and held further senior management roles with MMG Limited (Sepon operations) and with Toll Holdings.

Craig holds a Business Degree and is a qualified CPA as well as a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and AusIMM. He will join the Board on 1 April 2025.

Jono Kort

Jono is an experienced global executive whose career has spanned listed and private companies in resources and infrastructure. His most recent roles include Chief Development Officer (“CDO”) and CFO at PanAust Limited. Jono has held several financial, commercial and risk management leadership roles at BHP, Coronado Global Resources and Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal.

Jono has worked for more than 20 years in the mining industry across several commodities and jurisdictions. Jono is a Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand and holds a Master of Science in Mineral Economics.

Kevin MacNeill

Chief Technical Office

Kevin was appointed Chief Technical Officer (CTO), effective 1 April 2025, after serving as CEO since 2020. Kevin’s 35+ year career has been dedicated to the development and operation of resource projects, from discovery through feasibility to full-scale operation.

He has held various senior executive appointments, including President of Etruscan Diamonds (part of TSX-listed Etruscan Resources), and was the Founder & Managing Director of Specialized Metallurgical Projects Pty Ltd, which was majority acquired by the CRONIMET Group. Kevin then served as Managing Director of CRONIMET Mining Processing SA Pty Ltd. In that role, he led the application of sensor-based sorting and fine-gravity separation technologies to re-purpose historic waste dumps and convert low-grade resources into economically viable operations. Over his career, he has successfully secured more than $150 million in equity and $200 million in debt to support project development.

As CTO, Kevin provides technical leadership across EQ Resources’ operations at the Mt Carbine tungsten mine in Australia and the Barruecopardo tungsten mine in Spain, operated through the Company’s Spanish subsidiary, Saloro. He is responsible for driving improvements in production and recovery rates, and for supporting the strategic planning and execution of operational initiatives across both Operations.

 

Melanie Leydin

Ms Leydin has over 25 years’ experience in the accounting profession and over 15 years as a Company Secretary with extensive experience in relation to Public Company responsibilities. Ms Leydin holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and Corporate Law, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and Registered Company Auditor. Ms Leydin graduated from Swinburne University in 1997, became a Chartered Accountant in 1999 and since February 2000 has been the Principal of Leydin Freyer Corp Pty Ltd. Following Leydin Freyer’s acquisition by Vistra Australia in November 2021, Ms Leydin now holds the position of Australian Managing Director of Vistra Australia which provides outsourced Company Secretarial and accounting services to public and private companies across a host of industries.

Natasha Troughton

Natasha is the Company’s long-standing stalwart employee, providing continuity since Carbine Tungsten days. Natasha co-ordinates all aspects of the company’s finance and administration matters, oversees the corporate services department and is an integral member of the corporate and site leadership team.

Kong Yong

Financial Controller

Kong is a member of CPA Australia since 2002 with demonstrated experiences in audit assurance, risk management and financial controls in the equity capital market, banking and mining industry. Kong oversees the management and financial accounting, treasury and risk management functions at EQR.
